About

As a 5th-generation Montanan, I have experienced the value of deep roots and being connected to a place, a people, and a story. I believe relationships are at the heart of every story, and am passionate about helping individuals, families, and children reconnect with others and reconnect with themselves to make sense of their past, present, and future. I have training in individual therapy for adults and minors, couples therapy, and family systems. Whether working with adults, children, or families, I believe relationships are the mechanism for healing and that my relationship with my clients is a starting point for change.

My current clinical interests involve evidence-based approaches for treating individual and family trauma and breaking destructive generational cycles. The majority of my studies so far have been in family systems, psychodynamic and EMDR therapy. All of these help heal root issues through identifying and healing conflicts and problematic beliefs.

I have been married for 15 years and have three children who are committed to helping me stay humble. When I am not working, I am usually with my family doing something normal and fun. On the rare instances I am not so fortunate, I can be found hunting, reading, or writing stories.
