As a faith based, evidence based, and clinical counselor, I believe therapy is a collaborative journey between the client and therapist. Every individual is composed of mind, body and spirit. If one is out of balance so are the other two. My objective is to provide help on the path to wholeness and tranquility. My first goal in counseling is to create a safe space for clients to express feelings and challenges encountered. As ordained clergy, I believe it is important for clergy to have a forum to express their challenges and thoughts without repercussion or concern about perceptions from congregations in which they serve. I specialize in working with adults who have problems with relationships, anxiety, depression, stress, and work challenges. I use a faith based, evidence based, eclectic approach to therapy, which focuses on every individual from a personal perspective. Self-care is also of the utmost importance. Therapy is one aspect of self-care. As a Christian Counselor my practice is committed to providing a setting for exploration, processing, transformation and growth.
