About

Specializing in trauma-informed care that is person-centered and strengths-focused, I believe in taking a collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling in an effort to ensure you feel seen, heard, & most importantly, validated. As a BIPOC clinician, I specialize in helping you navigate cultural and spiritual-related internal conflicts as well as various adversities and life transitions. I also have extensive experience treating substance use disorders seen through a harm reduction-focused lens.

I have over 13 years of clinical experience providing counseling & case management to a wide range of individuals and families across various placement settings within the community. I incorporate the following treatment modalities in my sessions: DBT, MI, TF-CBT, Mindfulness, & Chairwork Therapy.

With a focus on empathic listening and meeting clients where they are, I am passionate about building a strong rapport to create a consistently safe space where you can learn to be vulnerable while exploring your feelings. I teach my clients effective communication and emotion regulation skills so they can feel empowered to make the changes they so desire.
