About

I am a board-certified, integrative psychiatrist who helps children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma improve their mood, worry less, focus more, and be the best version of themselves through a combination of medications, thoughts/emotion/behavioral training, lifestyle coaching, and natural supplements. As a mother, I hope that my daughter learns healthy habits and takes the minimum amount of medications necessary to help her grow into a life-loving adult. This is my hope for my patients as well, and it is not too late for us adults!

My training consists of adult psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship both at the University of Arizona. I gained additional expertise in using alternative, complementary and non-pharmacologic modalities throughout my training via the Integrative Psychiatry curriculum from the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and often incorporate mindfulness, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications into treatment plans. I have a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to not only treat but also to understand the patient in a holistic manner. Together, we can achieve a brighter and more balanced future for you.
