I believe that tending to your wounds shouldn't happen in isolation and that healing is a responsibility, but not one you should bear alone. I have witnessed that true growth begins when you show up as you are (flaws, strengths, and all) and you allow yourself to be seen, heard, and cared for. A lot of my experience is in trauma and parenting. These two topics can bring up so much! And they require a willingness to be vulnerable and transparent, but never at the expense of your wellbeing. Our first session together will focus on exploring what brought you to therapy and if you have any goals in mind. No worries if you don't! We can identify them together. We will also make time to support you in defining what safety and trust look like for you. I believe that this is an essential step to developing the therapeutic relationship. Embracing support can be empowering and push us to grow in ways we wouldn't be able to alone. I strive to create a space that welcomes and embraces all that you are and all that you have been through. You can expect warmth, empathy, encouragement, and to be challenged with respect and care.
