I believe that psychotherapy can be a process of healing, self-discovery, and a path towards feeling more fully alive. Whether you are trying to alleviate troublesome symptoms, achieve a greater sense of well being, and/or achieve more intimacy and closeness with yourself and others, finding a therapist that is a good fit is an essential first step. Together, we will set goals, explore underlying issues, and work towards emotionally and intellectually understanding what is going on to empower you to create the life that you want. I currently see clients in private practice and at a dual diagnosis residential and outpatient program where I developed my specialty in addiction recovery. In addition to having expertise with substance use disorders, I provide therapy for depression, anxiety, trauma, and issues related to singles, dating, love, and relationships. I have an eclectic approach that incorporate various evidence based approaches such as Depth Psychology/Psychodynamic therapies, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you on your journey. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and warm environment so we can explore authentically and honestly.
