My name is Yahaira Andrade, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have worked in mental health counseling for 4 years. I also have experience in educational counseling. I typically work with young adults and children ages 7 to 17 years old with severe mental health issues, but I have experience with different populations ranging from ages 3 to 30 years old. I typically work with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and defiant disorders. My therapeutic approach is Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe in client empowerment and I work collaboratively with my clients to achieve their goals for therapy. I chose to be a therapist because it is my passion. I care very much for my clients and want to help them achieve their life worth living. I am passionate about making this world a better place to live in and I truly believe it takes meeting people where they are at and having the patience and understanding to support them through their journey.
