About

Transparency, encouragement and support make up the foundation of my approach. By replacing judgment with curiosity, I work to create a space where people can explore topics that may otherwise produce shame or guilt. This process fosters courage, self-awareness, self-acceptance, strength, new ways of thinking, and ultimately, relief and improvement. Guided by attachment theory, interpersonal psychology, and existential psychology, I use a psychodynamic approach to help people develop the clarity, confidence, and energy they need to take positive action and live their fullest lives.

I have extensive experience with the adolescent, emerging adult, and young adult populations, having worked for years in university and high school settings. Individuals within these groups frequently grapple with identity development, social acceptance/anxiety, dating and relationships, establishing independence, professional decision-making, and parenting.

Finding the right therapist for you can be a challenge. I offer a no-cost, no-obligation 20 minute consultation to help us both determine if working together is a fit. During consultation, we will briefly explore the reason(s) for seeking therapy, and you will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the therapy process.
