About

If you are reading this, you have already taken the first step! Starting therapy can be overwhelming, especially if you have been sitting with difficult feelings on your own, but here’s the thing, some of the scariest things are the most rewarding; and I am here to move into that with you. My practice is informed by my identity as a black woman, and I view the therapeutic relationship as a space that fosters a collaborative environment. I navigate spaces with openness, humor, and empathy, seeking always to understand others with grace and an appreciation of their autonomy.

I believe in having a holistic, strengths-based, and relational approach to treatment and work from a trauma-informed perspective and harm reduction model. My mission in the therapeutic room is to support your healing journey while offering parts of self to further strengthen the relationship.

I approach working with you from a place of appreciation and respect for your courage and interest in your personal growth. If you are interested in connecting or feeling apprehensive about jumping into the process, I invite you to reach out and together we can see if we are a good fit!
