Accepting new clients! Finding the right therapist is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It's crucial to feel safe, supported, and free of judgment as you process your experiences, explore your thoughts and emotions, gain insights, and work towards personal growth and healing. I believe change begins by understanding who we are, not what is wrong with us. Through an individualized, person-centered approach, I draw from research, philosophy, and evidence-based practices to guide you on your journey towards a healthier relationship with your self and others. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. I've worked with individuals and couples to address the complex issues that arise in modern relationships. I bring a trauma-informed perspective that is grounded in research on human development, attachment, and the influences of environment. My perspective is informed by over 20 years working with individuals and families. I have extensive experience with diverse populations across the social, economic, racial, cultural, sexual orientation and gender identity spectrum. I have been a therapist for 6 years. Prior to counseling, I worked in prison re-entry, child welfare, and community health.
