Being raised in a family with thirteen siblings, I learned early how to see things from multiple viewpoints. Also, I've learned that it was okay to have different viewpoints and not be wrong, because it was that person's opinion or belief. I became interested in couples and families, because I've learned that there's a difference between being in a relationship and "just" being together with a person or persons. Although it's a human need to want to be in a relationship, it's also a personal responsibility to learn how to be relationship material. View 4 Photos My specialty includes helping individuals, couples, and families process their past family interactions so they can understand how those interactions impact them in their current relationships today. The saying, "Where the mind goes, the feet follows," for children, "What the parent/caregiver does, the child will learn to do also." I'm able to understand the importance of an emotionally safe environment and how to use that to help people talk about and create the changes they want to see in their lives so they can learn how to get their emotional wants and needs met in positive ways.
