I am Will Kapfer, a Resident in Counseling practicing in the Commonwealth of Virginia with over 4 years of experience working with children, families, and adults seeking help with anxiety, trauma, depression, substance use, adjustment issues, grief/loss, and psychoeducation. I enjoy equipping individuals with various skills to support them in living healthy and empowered lives. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling at the University of South Carolina and received my Master’s degree in counseling from Marymount University. I always match my therapeutic approaches according to each individual client and work to develop a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs. I strive to establish a welcoming and supportive environment and believe in the importance of developing a healthy working therapeutic alliance with my clients. I help clients by improving their self-empowerment and work collaboratively to meet their personal needs and goals.
