William DeWitt is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kentucky who has been practicing since 1987. He has a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Central Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Western Washington University. William approaches each client as an individual and adjusts the treatment to meet their individual needs. He works collaboratively with the client to determine the best approach for the client's particular struggles. With adults, William is trained and has used eye movement desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR); cognitive processing therapy (CPT); cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); emotionally focused couples therapy (EFCT), and in treatments for eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. Outside of work, William enjoys writing fiction, sports such as tennis and pickleball, movies, books, attending live theatre and concerts, running, and, of course, hanging out with friends.
