Let’s face it. Life is hard. Problems can be complex. You have tried so hard to solve your problems but nothing has worked. Now you are considering therapy or maybe you have tried therapy before and it just did not work. Perhaps you thought your therapist just did not care. I have taught undergraduate counseling students the motto I practice with my clients, “ People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” I care deeply about each of my clients. My all consuming desire is to help you deal with your problems and be happy again. I offer hope and my best efforts. It would like to accompany you on your journey. Susan and I have been married for 51 years and have two married children. I understand the complexities of marriage.I have taught future counselors on two continents about addictions, divorce, sexuality, childhood, adolescent and adult problems. I helped establish the Arkansas Board of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors.I have testified in custody cases. Finding the right therapist is no easy task. In my nearly fifty years in this field, I still consider it an honor to be asked to provide therapy for individuals, couples and families.Therapy is a special relationship. I am always concerned with what happens from the time you leave my office until you return. I tailor my schedule to you and am flexible .
