Couples working with me learn to: create a secure, loving, and trusting bond with each other. Improve Communication skills, increase verbal and sexual intimacy, stop the "blame game," talk about your thoughts and feelings without fear of being hurt or judged, set appropriate boundaries within your relationship(s), stop passive-aggressive behaviors and become assertive in all your relationships, accept each other - warts and all. I specialize in the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and use Brainspotting. I am Certified in Brainspotting. I work with couples using Emotional Focused Therapy which helps couples build bridges to reach each other. I treat depression, anxiety, substance abuse recovery, all life transitions, codependcy issues and grief. My experience includes working with a diverse population of individuals and couples with a wide range of relationship problems with spouses, partners, family members, bosses, and/or people at work or school.
