I am a passionate, engaging, clinically-driven psychotherapist who helps clients identify and change "Stories" that do not serve them. My background includes diverse clinical experience serving adults and adolescents across mental health and substance abuse diagnoses, biological sex, race, culture, gender identity, and gender expression. I use an authentic, relational-driven approach to facilitate exploration, growth, and change. We tell ourselves stories about our mental health, our ability to handle stress, our capacity to create and sustain healthy relationships, our self-worth, and more. Such stories have been shaped by experiences, biology, and events. Some stories are affirming, others distressing. Some stories that once helped us now hurt us. Some stories are simply untrue. I join with my clients in identifying personal stories that need to be changed and in helping them learn and implement strategies to do so.
