My name is Whitney Parris, LMFT 122801. My passion is partnering with people to help them gain insights about their life, practice coping skills, identify and reach their life goals, and walking through the grief process. My approach pairs well with those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions and grief. I help explore family patterns, use cognitive behavioral therapy to help explore thoughts feelings and behaviors, while also working to identify problematic stories we tell ourselves. It is important to both learn about yourself and practicing the changes you want to make. My goal is create a warm and open environment where we can be curious about your life. I also really value incorporating humor into my work. I hope to host a space that invites us to go below the surface to work on your goals, while also taking breaks for fresh air.
