I want to focus on the areas where children and young people are most in need. My desire is to help address the challenges and barriers that hinder the growth of children and adolescents. I will use the eclectic cognitive-behavioral approach relying on a variety of theoretical techniques, as this enables me to respond to each client's needs. I want my clients to be able to overcome challenges and live more productive lives by using different approaches to solve problems effectively. I have found working with children and teens in therapeutic settings to be the most rewarding field. With all the challenges they have, I realized I need to be compassionate, have great people skills, be a good listener, and have superior speaking skills in order to connect with any child and teen. I will use various methods to help my clients. It is important to me to make my clients feel comfortable and show empathy when needed. This helps build relationships without judgment and shows my clients that I will help them in the best possible way. I learned to connect with my clients by putting myself in their shoes and meeting them where they are in their lives. It helps to understand them better.
