To help achieve the goals you have in mind, whether you wish to improve the quality of your life or better cope with life's difficulties, I offer many years of experience and a collaborative, non-judgmental approach. My orientation is wholistic-mind, body, and spirit-in order to help you with the areas in which you want to focus. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, especially those of cognitive-behavioral origin. Having worked in a number of settings, I have broad experience as a counselor and therapist. Those settings include outpatient mental health, university counseling, school counseling, and in-home autism treatment. These varied experiences have all enriched my career; however, my heart lies as an outpatient psychotherapist, so this is where I'll stay. Balancing this career with quality relationships, a healthy lifestyle, a strong spiritual connection, and a good book is vital to my own mental health. The more time amidst nature, the better! Maintaining a community presence is also important to me, so I serve on various boards and committees.
