I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 20 years of therapeutic experience. I specialize in mindfulness practices, treating anxiety, mood disorders, codependency, addiction, trauma, ptsd, LGBTQIA+ issues, and women’s issues. My professional interests include LGBTQIA+ identity development, emotional regulation and helping clients live according to their values. I work from a holistic, client-centered perspective, tailoring treatment to the client’s individual needs and focusing on developing and nurturing the relationship between therapist and client. My approach is an eclectic one which integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based, compassionate action-oriented work, and mindfulness practices. I believe in not only treating the mind or the body. Body, mind, and spirit all have an impact on overall health and wellbeing. My practice is rooted in the science behind body/mind/spirit awareness to maximize clients’ full potential with the purpose of increasing mindfulness and decreasing symptoms and suffering.
