After practicing psychotherapy for seventeen years at UCLA and Cornell University, I've come to realize that as human beings, we make the most change when we're able to harness the power of positive thinking and doing. A positive mind leads to resilience, self-confidence, and sustained happiness. Contrary to what you may believe, ordinary people like you and me can learn positive psychology. It isn't as hard as you think because we're born with the ability to heal ourselves and succeed in life. It's something to experience and discover for yourself. Happiness IS possible. I specialize in helping others use tools to strengthen their self-concept ("I'm worthy," "I'm lovable," "I'm good enough") and their relationships (finding fulfilling relationships, undo fears of abandonment/rejection, and more). It is largely through the interplay between self-concept and relationships that contentment begins. As a therapist, I enjoy helping you discover your happiness. It does not matter where you start in your journey; it matters that you do! Because I believe that therapy should enhance your life and not hinder it, I offer weekend sessions, on-line therapy, and short-term therapy options.
