About

We can sometimes feel that we are getting in our own way. Often unconscious patterns that may have served us earlier in life become frustrating, problematic, and uncomfortable. We may find these patterns interfering with relationships, intimacy, work, physical health, a sense of purpose, creativity, connection with self, intuition, efficacy, and self-confidence. We may find that we are living in removed or automated ways, distanced from life. We may neglect or abandon ourselves, over-expand or limit ourselves. When these ways of being become challenging can be an opportune time to engage in counseling.

Through somatic psychotherapy, an embodied approach to counseling, I support you in becoming conscious of the ways early patterning lays a blueprint for how we live now: how we breathe, move and restrict, communicate, hold stress, bind impulse, and the way this impacts our psyche and thus our relationship with and experience of ourselves and the world.

I provide a secure and attuned context in which you can begin to experience freedom from habit and a greater sense of empowerment and choice, and incorporate these liberated ways of being into daily life. Together in a free 30-minute consultation, we will discuss your individual needs and how somatic counseling might be appropriate for you.
