I am a LMHC and most of my work has been in the community mental health setting, meaning I have had a broad range of experiences working with everyone from children to older adults. I have worked primarily with those struggling in addiction, but because of my background I have worked with a broad range of treatment needs. I also really enjoy helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma concerns. I do primarily individual therapy, but do have experience working with couples as well. I am very relationally based and really focus on therapy as a collaboration between you and I, with your input leading the way. View 9 Photos For me the most important part of a therapy, is the therapeutic relationship. If we can connect well and build trust and safety in our relationship that is what opens the door to making meaningful changes and finding healing. I do have a lot strong experience working with those struggling in addiction and providing non-stigmatizing and trauma informed care. I think it is important that you at least know a little bit about me a person. I am a gay, married, cis-gender male with two kids, a pre-teen girl and a teenage son. I also am a Christian, but I am very progressive in my theology and accepting of ALL belief systems. I also love video games and Dungeons and Dragons as some fun activities!
