About

¿Hola, que tal? I hope you realize what an incredible step you’re taking towards healing and self-discovery. As an immigrant or the child of immigrant parents, childhood may have come with responsibilities you did not ask for. Although these expectations provide great skills, they also come with challenges like continuing to feel responsible for family’s wellbeing, struggles with balancing family’s expectations of you and your actual preferences, feeling like you don’t always belong in spaces, making sense of mixed emotions like gratitude for family sacrifices while also feeling upset with what you and/or family had to go through.

Because of the unique needs in nuestra cultura, I believe working with a professional who understands the importance of honoring the client’s needs while also considering the role of familia is necessary.

As a first gen Latina myself, I work to provide a space where you as a Latina/Latino/Latine, regardless of your generation, can better understand your emotions, feel like you belong, and explore healthy boundaries. I would love the opportunity to work with you in creating the life you deserve.
