It is truly a big step to embark upon the journey of therapy. I work to create a safe space for individuals to explore some of their challenges and allow them to begin living life more fully. I believe that therapy is a collaborative experience. We will develop treatment goals that match where you want to make changes in your life and how to get there. It is important to identify and understand why you are feeling the distress that you are in addition to trying new skills for symptom management and relief. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques in addition to mindfulness and deep breathing exercises. Office hours are typically Monday through Thursday 9am-5p. I have been providing therapy in the mental health field for the past 15 years. I have extensive experience with women's issues (including postpartum anxiety and depression), anxiety, and substance use disorders.
