As a Licensed Professional Counselor it is my goal to help others discover the solutions and strategies that they feel will work best to solve problems and lead to a more balanced life. As well as having a passion for supporting moms and families, I am also passionate about LGBTQIA issues and assisting those struggling with substance use. I enjoy using humor, analogies, and relating issues from everyday life to pop culture references that are meaningful for the individual I am working with. I am only able to offer telehealth at this time. Email is the best way to reach me for inquiries. While working with moms and families, I have used cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and a strengths based systemic approach to assist in creating meaningful change. I have experience in family communication issues, parenting skills, substance use, negative self-talk, anxiety, depression and trauma. Not all those who wander are lost, but sometimes taking time to talk about the journey can help us find direction.
