Hi! My name is Victoria, and I am currently enrolled as a graduate student at New York Institute of Technology’s Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling program. I have experience in individual and group counseling settings, specifically working with children in a K-4 school setting as a Certified School Counselor. I aim to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for you to feel comfortable sharing and exploring your thoughts, feelings, and life challenges. I am very passionate about helping individuals learn to heal, grow, and accept themselves by developing and utilizing healthy coping skills. I intend to do so by focusing on Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I am also interested in exploring more with Play Therapy, and Mindfulness and Strengths-based interventions. I am so excited to start this journey together!
