My ideal client is someone who is motivated for change, able to take accountability for their actions, and open-minded to new concepts and challenges that improve their daily life. I encourage clients to develop SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound) goals within the first few sessions to ensure active progress is being attained. View 7 Photos One of my greatest decisions was to get trained in EMDR. I have been able to treat clients working through PTSD, C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, and a variety of other mental health diagnoses. In addition to EMDR, I frequently utilize CBT and explain cognitive reframing in a language that clients can understand. Everyone has trouble navigating life sometimes, but we never have to do it alone. In my own journey in therapy, I have learned to appreciate the difficult, exciting, weird, scary, and rewarding parts that come along the way. Applying humility in my work allows clients to take the lead of the change they want and deserve.
