Therapists » Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I have had the opportunity to work as a Clinician for the past 12 years. I am a bereavement/grief specialist and will help you with the most challenging part of life; loss. Grief is a journey, and I will walk the journey with you. I also work with chronic pain and illness management. Some days can be very difficult to just get out of bed. I will be your cheerleader to keep going and set small goals. Having a new health diagnosis can be shocking and difficult to maneuver. Why walk these challenges alone? I have worked with a variety of diagnoses including PTSD, Trauma Therapy, depression and anxiety. Together we can change negative thought patterns, process unresolved trauma, and help you live your best life. I use several methods of therapy: Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Grief therapy, Trauma Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Positive Psychology and Solution-focused Therapy. Using these theories enables positive change and healing. Life is like a wave. It hits us, and sometimes knocks us over. I broke my back one year ago. This changed my life. During this very painful and emotional time I used various therapeutic methods for my healing, and they work! Our brains are powerful tools and can help with so many of life's challenges. Why not reach out and learn how to live your best life?
