About

I enjoy working with clients who are ready to take a look at themselves and see how they can improve their own choices and life. My style is direct and genuine. It is through honest self-exploration that we learn why we do what we do and how we can then make deep and lasting changes. I focus on accountability and ownership, not blame and shaming thought patterns. It is my goal to provide a safe, honest space and to provide my clients with the framework to create that change.

My direct style appears to be necessary when facing challenges of divorce, depression, & transitions in general. I work to help my clients be mindful of their thoughts & behaviors allowing them to be more in control of their emotions & choices.

My areas of special interest also include ADHD, families and individuals navigating major life changes, as well as helping adolescents and young adults transition to successful adulthood. I also find it very rewarding to provide short term support to families in acute conflict through brief communication based therapy.
