About

People come to therapy for many reasons, sometimes it’s an unexpected or painful transition, other times it might be conflict in important relationships. Often, people have tried to help themselves feel better, and are unsure of where to go next. Regardless of the reason you are seeking help, you are likely looking for relief from pain or suffering. I’m glad you’ve taken this important first step. My role is to offer you a warm and non-judgmental space to process life’s complexities and create meaningful change.

Therapy works best when you feel safe with and connected to your therapist. Through my engaged and compassionate approach, I will support you in making connections between the past and the present, feeling safe(r) in your body, and feeling less stuck in life. My practice is rooted in harm-reduction, attachment based, and relational frameworks.

While therapy can be challenging, it can also be fun. You will likely find that as you begin to feel relief from painful emotions, you will have access to more authentic joy. Most people I work with find that they gain a deeper understanding of themselves and are able to build more connection with others. Reach out if it sounds like we might be a good fit.
