Hello and welcome! I'm glad that you're here and considering working with me. I am licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Vermont (online only for SC and VT clients). I specialize in counseling with women who are experiencing anxiety, body image issues, pregnancy/postpartum mental health concerns, depression, life transitions, parenting difficulties, and relationship concerns. I have over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field in a variety of counseling settings including inpatient and outpatient agencies, a university counseling center, public school systems, non-profits, and now in my private practice. My approach to counseling honors each person as an individual with unique emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. I offer a safe, confidential space for exploration, growth, and healing to begin. In my work with clients I most often use Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, somatic interventions, and mindfulness techniques. Whether you are experiencing a specific concern, struggling with self-esteem or perfectionism, are feeling anxious or depressed, or seeking more connection with others, counseling is a courageous step toward leading a more fulfilling, joyful life.
