Therapy does not make hard things easy, but it can make confusing things clearer. My hope is to work with my clients towards real change, greater flexibility, and honesty in the context of a compassionate relationship, all of which are necessary for healing and flourishing. I work with individuals who struggle with intense emotions, hard to control behaviors, OCD, addiction, trauma, abuse, and suicidal/self-harm behaviors. I also work with religious or spiritual concerns. I work with people who experience conflict within themselves, with other people in their lives, or with their personal and collective histories. I have received extensive training in comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and also am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive-behavioral therapies, and psychodynamic theory. I build my practice on the best that the research has to offer while also integrating the wisdom found in one’s personal and cultural values. If any of the above sounds like we might be a good fit, don't hesitate to reach out!
