I am here to be your guide so you can embody a greater sense of connection, confidence, and ease within yourself and your relationships. I help those struggling with their partner or family relationships, navigating big life transitions, adjusting to medical illness or injuries, processing grief/loss, and living with the impacts of past or recent trauma. We will explore holistic and mindful approaches to your unique story, to help you grow your self-awareness and find ways in your day-to-day to thrive. I am collaborative, conversational, directive, and bring humor in my sessions. I use a trauma informed lens to help you better understand how the body responds to stress/safety so that you develop curiosity and self-compassion vs. shame and guilt. My approach utilizes CBT, ACT, EMDR, "parts-work," Solutions Focused therapy, and relational therapy. While beginning therapy can often feel intimidating, I want you to feel confident starting with an initial consultation call. I will uphold a welcoming and curious space to learn of the shame, pain, and wounding that you have experienced.
