Greetings and light. Life can sometimes turn difficult and painful, and at these times, reaching out for help can be reassuring and powerful. I use authenticity, compassion, empathy and optimism to support my clients in making the life changes that they are seeking. Drawing from cognitive behavioral, narrative, eclectic approaches and a culturally meaningful lens, clients are supported in finding solutions. I believe that a balanced, therapeutic relationship is key to promoting psychological growth and healing. My areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, grief, life-transitions, self-esteem, trauma,people of color and LGBTQ+. I draw from my experience as a professor, trauma-informed yoga instructor, teacher trainer and community health educator and advocate to work with my clients to create a holistic means of addressing their struggles in a supportive space. Change is a process, but I will be here to help you sustain a vibrant, healthy and genuine presence in life. Drawing from my personal life and professional experience, I will honor the step you are taking. Together we will work to create new experiences in your healing process.
