I work with clients who may be finding themselves struggling with the impacts of trauma and noticing they're repeating patterns in their intimate relationships that they want to be different. They are open to exploring the complexities of their upbringing and learning how these early templates are showing up in their lives now. They are curious - and perhaps frustrated by - what is motivating their thoughts, emotions and behaviors, and are looking for deep, lasting change. I specialize in trauma recovery, strengthening relationships, and promoting self-awareness. EMDR is my main treatment method, but I also use principles of neurobiology and Internal Family Systems. Attachment theory guides my understanding and treatment of interpersonal relationships. I am BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, and neuro-diversity affirming. I offer reduced fees for folx who need them and accept insurance as an in-network provider for Optum and Aetna. If all of this sounds like a good fit, I invite you to reach out and schedule a free, fifteen-minute phone consultation to find out more about how I may be able to help you.
