About

I am passionate about helping adolescents and young adults navigate the difficult transition of emerging adulthood. I have experience working in inpatient settings with high-risk adolescents, partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient settings. As a second-generation Croatian American, I am familiar with the direct impact multiculturalism can have on one’s mental health and overall wellbeing. Growing up in Montgomery County, I understand the unique culture of growing up in an area with high academic pressures imposed on students.

I incorporate my knowledge and experience of both clinical and population level mental health into my therapeutic practice by using an ecological perspective. I highly value the therapist-client relationship and work with you to understand how various systems in your environment influence you and your responses.

Through humor and authenticity, I work best with adolescents and young adults. My approach to therapy is being supportive while also being direct. Together, we can help you achieve your life worth living goals.
