My main focus as an EMDR-trained therapist is helping individuals recover from trauma in a safe and supportive environment. I work with people from a variety of backgrounds but with particular focus on the LGBTQ+ community. If you find yourself being reactive, anxious, feeling numb, or stuck in patterns reliving the past, then I would like to help you make noticeable changes in your life and remove barriers that are standing in the way of healing. Therapy is your unique time to focus on your own needs where I can help you learn effective tools to cope in life and provide a safe space to experience and alleviate heavy emotions. With EMDR, I help clients process and recover from traumatic experiences. Additionally I have experience working with those who have anxiety, mood disorders, relationship problems, and those needing support in the LGBTQ+ community. I incorporate various approaches into my work based on each person's need such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness. If you are needing support, please reach out and we can talk about your goals to see what I can do to help. Everyone deserves a non-judgmental space to be heard and I welcome the opportunity to help you find ways to build the life you are wanting for yourself.
