Therapists » Marriage & Family Therapist Associate
Being human is messy and hard, and all too often, you can feel alone in facing your suffering. You feel isolated, cut off, like nobody else gets what you're going through–whether that be grief, depression, systemic oppression, trauma, or any other human affliction. While the original experiences were hard, your sense of aloneness makes them worse; they stick with you and shape the way you interact with the world, like tightly-wound knots that never get a chance to loosen. As your therapist, I aim to approach these areas of suffering with you, side-by-side, and begin to untangle those knots together. Both as a therapist and as a client, I find this work uniquely moving and inspiring. As hard as it is to be human, I also see so much beauty in our common humanity and our shared strivings towards healing, growth, and connection. As we explore the possibility of working together, I can’t wait to get to know you—who you’ve been, who you are, and who you’re in the process of becoming.
