Tuesdey is a member of the Association for Experiential Education (AEE). She has served as Leadership Council Chair of AEE’s Therapeutic Adventure Professional Group (TAPG), and has served in the past coordinating several conference offerings within the organization. Tuesdey has a demonstrated history of both clinical practice and leadership in the adventure therapy field. She enjoys working with clients whom have experienced a history of trauma, addiction, behavioral, and emotional problems utilizing best practices in conjunction with experiential and expressive arts therapy interventions as a powerful metaphor for healing. Tuesdey has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings throughout her career including school-based, residential, adventure and wilderness therapy, private practice, community/ home-based, and outpatient settings. She has been both a therapist and an assistant clinical director in a residential program. Tuesdey embodies a holistic, strengths-based approach to her practice and is knowledgeable and trained in the following modalities; Adventure Therapy (AT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
