About

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who enjoys helping clients regain a sense of hope, direction, and personal power in the face of complex and difficult problems. I strive to develop a truly collaborative partnership with my clients to build the sense of safety and trust needed to discuss uncomfortable topics and take risks. Therapy with me often involves re-examining old ways of thinking that might be fostering negative emotions and patterns of behavior; identifying and confronting fears; and practicing new ways of solving problems in order to live a fuller, more satisfying life.

I primarily focus on therapy for trauma-related problems, anxiety disorders, and stress reduction. I offer a variety of evidence-based therapy approaches including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, CBT-i for Insomnia, and Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety and Related Disorders.

I use a flexible approach that draws from principles of cognitive-behavioral, emotion-focused, interpersonal process, and mindfulness-based therapy. My therapeutic approach is guided by a commitment to anti-racist ethics, and I am aligned with Health at Every Size (HAES) principles.
