About

One of the greatest predictors of therapeutic success is a good match between therapist and client. My therapeutic approach is to be gently direct and focuses on you living the truth of who you are. I have no agenda about what your truth is or judgment of how it's become clouded. I am, however, interested in supporting you to live fully. I facilitate awareness through various means: body awareness, blockages to choice, personality, relationships, and teaching mindfulness practices. Clients who hold responsibility have the fuel to catalyze change, and I am ready to work with you.

Without awareness we often continue to pattern in familiar ways. Sometimes those patterns work, and sometimes the patterns are unwanted or destructive. While awareness is useful, being able to create a shift is challenging. Our time together is intended to grow your capacity so the shift is supported and sustained.

I learn each day what it means to live after the death of my daughter. She has shown me how to be present with extreme vulnerability, and to experience the depths of grief and love simultaneously. Elyse continues to teach me how to celebrate what life is here.
