At Origins, we are committed to supporting the whole person. We are dedicated to our mantra of "Health by choice, not by chance.". As a therapist, I believe that a person's emotional, physical and spiritual health are all equally important and one cannot exist without the others. For this reason, I work from a client's strengths to help them identify their goals and take deliberate, measurable and achievable steps toward finding the happiness and joy they desire in life. Emotional intelligence, communication effectiveness, relationship skills, mindful living and healthy parenting are some areas of focus. I am an EMDR therapist who works many types of trauma. Most of us will experience trauma in some shape during our lifetime. Timely and effective treatment of trauma can result in a speedier return to healthy functioning and avoid the development of negative and unhealthy coping skills. It is difficult to take the step to reach out for help. Please know that my approach is to let you lead the process. I will hold the space for your to find your clarity and develop a plan for your wellness. You drive the bus. I suggest turns along your path that might lead you more directly and efficiently toward your goals.
