I aim to help you cultivate a sense of home, peace, and nurturance within yourself. My approach combines somatic, attachment-based, and emotion-focused work with cognitive and action-oriented perspectives. I will work with you to develop greater self-understanding, process traumas and emotional wounds, and build a life you want to live. I commonly help clients with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma and PTSD, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and feelings of being lost or overwhelmed with life. I also enjoy helping clients explore themes of meaning, spirituality, and expanded states of consciousness. From infancy to our elder years, we all seek to feel accepted for who we are, and to be understood and cared for in our true emotional experience. As the foundation of our work, I seek to help you feel safe to be your authentic self and also to feel FELT by an empathetic and caring other. I’m a highly engaged therapist and not just a passive listener. We’ll work together to cultivate growth and desired change in your life, and while also building self-acceptance to bring more peace to your life. You’ll also develop new skills to work with difficult inner experiences, advocate for yourself, set boundaries, and improve your relationships. If you’d like to explore working together, please reach out!
