About

I primarily work with adult clients. Typically my clients have an intense desire to improve but are often plagued by anxiety, trauma, or trapped in behavioral addiction patterns. These challenges have contributed to them struggling with self-doubt, hopelessness, and despair. My clients often ask themselves questions like, "What would it be like if I didn't struggle with..." or "If I could only overcome this then..." My clients also often struggle with guilt, shame, and a lack of confidence.

I am a CMHC and have a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have treated multiple mental health challenges during my decade-plus in the mental health field. I primarily use Acceptance Commitment Therapy, EMDR, and components of psychodynamic therapy to address these challenges, but I am also well trained in multiple other therapeutic techniques.

In addition to providing therapy, I have extensive experience teaching, presenting, administration, and supervision. This experience helps me keep up to date with cutting-edge theories. If you are struggling with Anxiety, Addiction, Trauma, or other challenges. I would love to talk about how I could help and see if it is a good fit for you.
