About

I have over 10 years of experience working with queer and trans people, whether they are coming out, transitioning, or just in need of a place where they don't have to explain themselves. I have a special interest in working with creative people (both professional and amateur artists, writers, academics, musicians, etc.); people who have experienced religious trauma; and those navigating the waters of midlife. I have sat with many clients living with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PMDD; and with those who need an intentional and fiercely compassionate space to learn more about themselves, others, and the world.

To me, therapy is a "knowledge project" where we collaborate to discover and embrace your unique way of being in the world in ways that allow you to be a whole person: someone who has desires, wants, flaws, fears, wounds, scars, strengths and weaknesses. I do this by listening, but also by encouraging you to know and trust your process.

Research shows that the most important factor in successful therapy is a trusting, caring relationship with your therapist. If you have an intuition that we would be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out to me. We'll talk for a few minutes before making an appointment so you can do the all important "vibe check," and we'll proceed from there.
