About

I am privileged to facilitate the exploration and personal growth of clients with concerns such as family-of-origin difficulties, self-esteem, personhood, sense of self, and problems related to histories of childhood abuse. My practice is founded upon my steadfast belief that each and every one of us is doing the best we can, given the circumstances in which we find ourselves. I take a strengths-based approach and seek to create an environment in which each unique client is able to find the emotional safety, trust, and freedom necessary to facilitate growth.

I practice from principles of Humanism and Rogerian psychotherapy, which seek to understand each client from their own individual, lived experience and perspective. I also incorporate principles of attachment, trauma, self-compassion, self-psychology, and family systems into my work. I strongly believe that you are the expert of your own life.

My role is to facilitate and support you as you actualize what is already within you. I offer free phone consultations to provide additional information, answer any questions, or help guide your decision to see if the treatment I offer is right for you at this time. I welcome everyone to my practice. Please visit tracythetherapist.com for more information.
