About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been a Board Certified Music Therapist for 16 years. In therapy, it's important to create a safe space for expression through empathy and genuineness. Life can be hectic, and we are often faced with unexpected challenges, but there is hope. My creative arts background has led me to support clients in various populations facing the challenges and stresses of chronic illnesses/life-altering medical conditions, geriatrics/memory care, palliative/hospice, trauma, complex grief/sudden loss/bereavement, cancer/late effects, and female survivors of sexual assault/intimate partner violence.

It's okay to be right where you are. Give yourself permission to heal. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based, Trauma-Informed Care, Humanistic, and Person-Centered theories. I hope to provide a space of solace, authenticity, and genuineness where clients feel heard, understood, and valued is central to my practice.

Your story matters. YOU matter. For me, it is an honor to be invited in. Every journey is unique, and my goal is to walk alongside my clients, and I am committed to fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages clients to explore their strengths, build resilience, and achieve their personal goals.
