Hello Massachusetts! I'm an MSW graduate from Simmons School of Social Work and have been licensed in the field for 8 years, but working in this field for over a decade. I have worked in various settings including hospitals, community mental health centers & city shelters. I have experience working with family systems, DV survivors, folks with various mental health struggles, homeless individuals, African-Americans and Haitian individuals with struggles that require cultural knowledge, considerations & responsiveness. I have also done extensive work with adolescents with trauma backgrounds, supporting them through life transitions I like to bring an eclectic therapeutic approach to the work, so I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Psycho-education. I also work with relational issues, cultural issues with a focus of African-American and Haitian cultural sensitivities and experiences. My approach to the work is always client-centered. This means that I'm going to always meet you where you're at and allow you to drive the bus down the road to recovery. I'm here to support your journey and hoping that in our work together, I can be helpful to you in achieving whatever goals you may have for therapy. **Telehealth only due to COVID-19**
