My clinical skills are vast after over 30 years in private practice and 40 years as a social worker. I have worked with the military in Europe as a family therapist and participate in the Give an Hour Program here in Kentucky. I serve on several boards including the Kent School Social Work Board, and the National Association of Social Work Ethics Committee. I treat ALL populations from the severely mentally ill to folks who would like to check in for a "validation tune up" from time to time. I am passionate about working with addictions (drugs, alcohol, eating, sex, gambling etc); codependency and other traumas. Lastly, for ten years I facilitated a group at "Gilda's Club" for individuals with a cancer diagnosis.Clinically speaking I see individuals, couples, families, parenting coaching, provide consultations and am trained in Collaborative Divorce Work. Having taught at the University of Louisville I continue to supervise social work license candidates.
